Our funding comes from individual donors, private contributions, and partnerships with those who believe in advancing justice through modern forensic technology.

The purpose of the Kaylee Goncalves Foundation DBA ‘Murder Has a Name’ is to remove financial barriers and ensure that cases can move forward regardless of a family’s ability to pay.
All funds raised are used strictly for foundation purposes, including funding advanced forensic DNA and investigative genetic genealogy (IGG) efforts. No funds are distributed to family members or foundation leadership. All positions are voluntary, ensuring every donation goes directly toward helping bring answers and justice to victims and their families.
No. At no time, including before the foundation was established, have any family members or board members received payment or financial benefit of any kind, including for interviews or appearances. Every dollar is used strictly to support the mission, raise awareness and advance case work.
